Communion

Everyone is welcome at the Lord’s Table.  Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month. Grape juice is used rather than wine. Communion is done through intinction…dipping your piece of bread or wafer into the cup. Gluten-free elements are available.

Sunday School

Toddlers and preschoolers are cared for during the worship service in Room 1 of the Education Building.

Grades 1 through 8

Class meets from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Lounge of Fellowship Hall.

We use the Hands-on-Bible Curriculum by Group Publishing which teaches the way Jesus taught, using unique and everyday objects to communicate Bible truths. Children learn what it means to be a friend of Jesus, using all senses: sight, smell, taste, touch, and sound. Through these hands-on experiences the children are able to internalize their learning and apply this learning to their lives.

Grades 9 through 12

Class meets in the Library from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

Our Sr. High youth class is currently participating in a blended curriculum of teacher and student guided lessons. Students begin with a guided lesson using the journaling series Claim the Life which focuses on real life application of biblical content. The second half of class is an academic Bible study in which the students and teacher agree on a book of the Bible to read and discuss.  All students in grades 9-12 are welcome to participate in the church library at 10 am during the school year.
